Job Summary:

The Marketing Head is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of the company’s marketing and advertising initiatives. They will manage a team of marketing professionals, set marketing goals, and ensure that the company’s marketing efforts align with its overall business strategy. The role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the market and customer behaviour.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.    Strategic Planning and Execution:

•     Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand    visibility, market share, and revenue growth.

•     Align marketing strategies with the overall business objectives and goals.

•     Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and market trends.

2.    Brand Management:

•     Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s brand identity.

•     Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.

•     Manage brand positioning and brand equity.

3.    Marketing Campaigns:

•     Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and events.

•     Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

•     Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality marketing materials.

4.    Team Leadership and Development:

•     Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals.

•     Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing team.

•     Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.

5.    Budget Management:

•     Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

•     Monitor expenditures and ROI on marketing activities.

•     Optimize marketing spend to achieve maximum impact.

6.    Stakeholder Collaboration:

•     Work closely with other departments, such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.

•     Present marketing plans and results to the executive team and other stakeholders.

•     Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.

7.    Digital Marketing:

•     Oversee the company’s digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

•     Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.

•     analyses and report on digital marketing metrics and KPIs.

8.    Public Relations and Communications:

•     Manage the company’s public relations efforts, including media relations and press releases.

•     Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies.

•     Handle crisis communication and reputation management.

 

Qualifications:

 

•     Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred.

•     Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

•     Skills:

•     Strong leadership and team management skills.

•     Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

•     Proficiency in digital marketing and marketing analytics tools.

•     Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•     Customer Insight: Utilize customer data and market research to drive marketing decisions and improve customer engagement.

•     Innovation: Continuously seek out and implement new marketing technologies and best practices.
