the development of novel technology and installation in challenging environments.

With mechanical & electrical engineering training and the ability to take on major responsibilities and lead large multiskilled internal and external teams, I have designed & delivered bespoke & mass-produced products for client needs.

Coordinated all resources across several projects. Familiar with manufacturing processes having delivered & led shop
floor operations. Led installation projects in challenging (offshore) conditions.
Detailed knowledge of the challenges of the oil & gas, marine, offshore, water, and renewable industries having
managed projects for some of the industry leaders. Committed to quality, completing projects against ISO, UL, API,
Aramco, and SAEP requirements and introduced a sustainability campaign.

● Managed 2 multi-million-pound projects simultaneously, plus, completed a full design scope in the energy sector.
● Delivered 3 multi-million-dollar projects in the technology sector, from client negotiation to mass production.
● Invented 2 products: Marine CPS; saving £500k/project. Turbine inlet system; increasing output by 3-5%.
● Resolved major challenges around safety, customer care, and timelines to get projects back on track. Planned and
prepared future stages of work to enable Just In Time (JIT) availability even in a gated project plan.

S K I L L S E T I N A L L R O L E S
● Managing client projects from concept and proposal to design, manufacturing, procurement, supplier relations,
transport, and installation. Maintained transparent client relationships with regular contact in all circumstances.
● Coordinating across departments (purchasing, finance, production, engineering, certification, design, software).
● Leading designs of complex mechanical & electrical systems that work in a given environment, analysing Original
Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications to ensure compatibility.
● Overseeing the manufacture of bespoke large-scale construction and mass-produced products. Planning
production and setting up lines and machinery. Creating manufacture and installation instructions and drawings.
● Creating Bills of Materials (BOMs). Creating and delivering timelines. Managing budget & profitability.
● Meeting regulatory requirements including UL and Aramco PMT and quality standards. Streamlining certification.

C A R E E R H I S T O R Y

Project Manager | Metscco Heavy Steel KSA | Jan – June 2024
Managed 2 large projects entirely. Responsible for key customers, 10 managers, 50 labourers, and 10 subcontractors.

Oil storage project
Planned and delivered a SAR100m complex Hot Tapping project for Aramco. Led from design and budget through
mobilisation, site preparation, civil work, manufacture, piping, hot tapping, and construction. Set up access and
determined all equipment requirements. Appointed and briefed all subcontractors. Inspected and tested.
● Brought a 2-month overdue project with 50 outstanding tasks up to date within 3 weeks.
● Delivered the project in 4 months instead of the planned 6 months. Completed within the original timescale.
● Safely oversaw the installation of 3 Valves (MOV), waterline rerouting, lifting, and civils work.

Water storage project
Planned and budgeted a SAR600m water storage project for SWCC on 11 water tanks of 1.4 million metres3. Inspected
the site, and cost and reviewed all construction activities (excavation, foundations, removal, and site remediation).
● Saved SAR40m by optimising the operating model. Analysed lifecycle costs of completing the work by buying or
renting the necessary equipment or subcontracting everything.

Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Engineer | Alexander Technology | 2022 – 2024
Led the entire process to develop power systems and battery packs for medical, military, and electric vehicle
applications. Clients included Bosch, 3M, Arthrex, Emeno, Torrot, & Milrem Robotics. Managed 2 project managers &
2 apprentices. Coordinated 4 departments (Electrical, Mechanical, Purchasing, and Production).
● Consulted clients leading to agreements to deliver £10m of new business and a £34m sales pipeline.
● Milrem, Tank Energy Storage System (ESS), 440 units: Principally designed. Completed Specification/Compliance
Matrix, Risk Assessment, and Design and Production For Manufacture Engineering Analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA).
● Bosch, Powertool Power & Charging System, 1000+ units: Took over a 12-month project that was 3 months behind
in material & certification delays, with impending cancellation. Re-built the client relationship and managed
stakeholders, timeline, supply chain, and dependencies. Implemented software workarounds. Retained the
customer (£32m recurring revenue). Concluded the project within a week of the original schedule.
● Arthrex, Power and Charging Systems for handheld devices, 1000+ units: Project managed mass production of 5
different items. Renegotiated contract terms and brought agreement within a process that was hampered by
changes. Delivered a quarter ahead of the schedule. Retained a £1.5m recurring revenue stream.

Project Engineer | OES Group | 2020 – 2022
Delivered large-scale systems for the offshore energy sector. Designed, built, installed, and commissioned globally for
clients such as DEMA, lemants, and Grahams. Led Senior Engineer, Quality Officer, apprentice, and subcontractors.
● Developed the largest Impress Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system (£2m) for an offshore substation.
● Managed a £1.6m ICCP system for a 26-turbine wind farm for Deme. Designed and delivered 56 Anode Rings, 26
control systems, and 6km+ cabling. Developed an installation method using Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV).
● Managed & completed a £500k project for a 200m harbour and 100+ piles in Scotland with Grahams Construction.
Analysed architectural drawings and topological data. Led the design and delivery of the sacrificial anode system.
● Invented a novel grommet system to protect existing underwater cables during installation. Researched, developed,
and tested internally & externally. Saved £500k per project. The product is now used widely.
● Redesigned an ultrasonic transducer product to be manufactured and installed differently to optimize performance
in situ for pipelines. Ensured it was more securely held but allowed free movement of the circuit.

Consultant | HQ Fabrication |2022 – 2023
Partnered with the business & two of its clients to deliver business-critical novel technology.
● Designed 6 Chemical Hoppers for Bazaar (mass production furniture): Redesigned 6 different machines into 1
multipurpose hopper. Reduced waste from 6m3
/day to nearly 0.
● Upgraded manufacturing of Responsive Engineering’s ploughs for mine sweeping tanks. Redesigned and integrated
a welding jig, enabling the use of robot welders. Increased capacity from 1 to 12 per month.

Applications Engineer, Project Manager | American Air Filter | 2014 – 2018
Designed, manufactured, and installed intake and exhaust systems for gas and nuclear turbines in the power generation
sector. Fully designed and installed systems and carried out civils work for Siemens, GE, Mitsubishi, & Rolls Royce.
● Completed a rotation with 3-6 months in every department: Sales, Applications Engineering, Mechanical Design,
Electrical Design, Fabrication, Quality & Inspection, Logistics, Project Management, and Purchasing / Supply Chain.
● Developed an inlet cooling system that improves turbine performance in use by 3% to 5%. Applied an Adiabatic
cooling system to gas turbines for the first time. The system is now used widely.
