JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
² Monitor regularly and record the effectiveness of the HSE policies, plan and procedures to ensure compliance with Health and safety management system

² Maintain all HSE Documentation to facilitate smooth Internal/external HSE Audits and client audits.

² Investigate all reported unsafe action/near misses immediately.

² Ensure that the emergency equipment and procedure are adequate to deal with an emergency.

² Ensure that regular mock drills and exercises are conducted at regular interval for both company as well as contractor’s staff to evaluate the preparedness of staff on emergencies and to test the effectiveness of emergency devices such as Alarm system.

² Improve HSE awareness consciousness among all company staff and contractor personnel using standard training aids.

² Plan and arrange monthly meeting with all contractor key staff to discuss the health and safety issues and to advise them on necessary steps to be taken.

² Participate in Client and consultant monthly meetings and ensure that new outcomes from meeting are communicated to all interested and implemented on ground level.

² Investigate all accident or incident by involving all concern parties to prevent re-occurrence of the same and maintain the record for future references.

² Prepare or review the all risk assessments related to all activities that company undertakes to ensure that risk is effectively evaluated and managed.

² Conduct regular HSE inspections for Sites, offices and company accommodations along with recommendation for improvements.

² Update the training matrix as and when training has been performed & forwards a copy to the Department head on monthly basis including subcontractors.

² Assist and advise procurement team on selection of Personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety devices as per international standards and local requirements

²  Arrange for safety flashes/alerts in the event of near misses/incidents and advice on the preventive Measures needed to avoid repetition of the events.

² Ensure that all machines and equipment’s entering at project site are inspected by HSE team in accordance with company HSE procedures and local requirement prior to allow at project sites.

² Organize monthly HSE Campaign and award ceremony to encourage employees and promote the safety culture of the organization.

² Ensure Ashghal approved traffic diversion plan (TDP) is obtained and implemented prior to start work and ensure continuous monitoring for compliance.

² Maintain all HSE Documentation to facilitate smooth Internal/external HSE Audits and client audits.

² Ensuring that effective heat stress management plan is implemented through collaboration with contractors and client.
