Detailed Experience:
From Nov 2004 to present: The Egyptian Maintenance Co. (EMC)                   EMC is a joint venture company between ABB / VETCO Aibel and EGPC, Egypt. It is a general maintenance service provider, including EPC projects, and also rental activities of all petroleum equipment.

Present post: General Manager.

Departments under supervision:

–      Rental of oil & gas equipment as:

Ø  Gas and diesel power stations, load banks.

·         Preparation of the annual budgets for profit centers, assets, deliveries, rental and maintenance operations.

·         Optimization of operational activities of projects by critically assessing the related practices in association with area managers.

·         Ensure Safety Critical Routines are completed on time and compliance targets are met.

·         Manage technical support services for clients through long-term service agreements, which provide manpower (local and expatriate), equipment, spare parts and service packages of a wide range of disciplines and categories.

·         Third-party inspector TPI, of power generation, gas compression EPC projects.

·         Review/approve the Inspection and Test Plan ITP.

·         Preparation and implementation of the QA/QC documentation related to the following:

–      EPC projects, overhauling, maintenance and operation activities of gas compressors, power generators, pumps, electronic cards,…etc.

·         Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan according to the approved standards and OEM recommendations.

·         Verify / Monitor compliance with quality system procedures and contractual requirements.

 

·         Review completion documentation, and supervise/monitor all related activities such as procurement, construction and fabrication activities.

·         Assure the compliance of all technical documents with the engineering documents.

·         Review/approve all the inspection records according to the inspection and test plan, applicable codes and standards.

·         Recommissioning, commissioning and startup follow-up.

·         Preparing inputs to plans concerning maintenance budget, forecasts, resourcing needs, overhaul strategies and project interfaces.

·         Evaluation and update of subcontractors and service providers list related to the business.

·         Implementation of service and technical support agreements.

·         Participate in the promotion of EMC projects within the local and foreign markets. Participate in new Project commissioning and punch listing, and follow up with the Projects Division clearance of the punch list items.

·         Enforce the implementation of the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System and also promote awareness among the staff.
