KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Using RAI-Professional Estimation Software.·Preparing Project brief report for top Management review.
·Review, analyze and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, bills of quantity and specifications to facilitate orundertake detailed take-offs as per project Method of Measurement.
·Preparing BOQ and tender related documents for Design & Build projects.
·Preparing & sending RFI by analyzing discrepancies and missing details of drawings, specification, and BOQ.
·Updating tender documents with tender circulars & study tender circulars and take due actions accordingly to fulfill project requirement and for a competitive offer.·
Preparing & sending RFQ to Venders and preparing & updating RFQ status.·
Coordinate with sub-contractors/suppliers, assist and clarify discrepancies of the RFQ and acquire a good subcontract priceoffer.
·Preparing price comparison, price breakdown and pricing complete BOQ.
·Preparing trade summary & subcontractor’s summary for top Management requirement.
·Preparing Value Engineering proposal.
·Answering for post tender clarifications.
·Review the contract documents, scope of works, drawings and specification and understand the project andcontract provisions.·Identify the claims, read and understand contemporary reports, formulate supporting documents and prepareProlongation Cost and Insurance claims.·Notify the Variations to the client, assess and submit the Variation Orders by getting internal approval.·Closely monitor the project, review the contractual documents for renewal of Bonds and Guarantees – requestAccounts Department to increase/ decrease the bonds whenever needed. ·Preparation delay notices and assist Contracts Manager to prepare Disruption claim·Handling site material requisition, control and assessment.·Preparation of monthly payment applications drafts and invoices and evaluation of subcontractors’ invoicesand certify payments.·Developing and preparing job budget by activity based on the contract documents, calculating progressquantities in weekly and monthly to monitor the budget and to prepare cost to complete.·Remeasure the project in every three months interval to revise the budget – submit new rates for the newdepths/ utilities/ items to the client.·Liaising with various project teams with regards to commercial activities.
