About the Candidate
With over 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, I currently serve as a Maintenance Supervisor at PETRONAS, one of the world’s leading energy companies. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Yangon Technology University and am a certified technician by the Institute of Technology Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP).
I specialize in overseeing the installation, commissioning, shutdown, start-up, servicing, and overhaul of equipment and systems on both offshore and onshore platforms. My focus is on ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. My expertise includes strong technical and engineering skills, and I proficiently use SAP/CMMS for maintenance records, repair work, and spare parts management.
As a leader, I mentor new technicians, conduct toolbox talks, prepare job hazard analyses, and implement effective maintenance solutions. My passion lies in delivering excellence in oil and gas maintenance operations, contributing to the ongoing success and safety of PETRONAS.
Education
I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University (Hmawbi), affiliated with Yangon Technological University, in December 2006. Throughout my studies, I consistently performed well, particularly in subjects such as Advanced Manufacturing Systems, Vibration & Control, and Alternative Energy Technology, where I achieved top grades. My final year GPA was 3.63, and my cumulative GPA was 3.53 out of 5.00, ranking me 54th out of 137 students. My academic performance reflects strong skills in both theoretical and practical aspects of mechanical engineering, preparing me well for future challenges in the field.
