Summary
I bring over 20 years of managerial and technical expertise in architecture, engineering, urban design and
planning, infrastructure design, and construction site management. My skill set also extends to project and
program management, communication, sales strategy, business planning, and corporate management.
Throughout my career, I have led a variety of key development projects in the MENA region and Afghanistan,
with a majority in KSA. This has allowed me to build an in-depth understanding and knowledge of design and
execution services related to the built environment. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to lead and
manage multidisciplinary design teams and challenging on-site supervision projects. This experience has
enabled me to develop positive and initiative-taking communication skills, which have been instrumental in
building a resilient network with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
In my previous role as a senior country manager in Afghanistan, I acquired critical insights into the dynamics
and power relations of local and regional government authorities in conflict zones. Leading from Kabul and
establishing a new office required emotional intelligence to support my team for optimum performance,
manage all associated documents and projects, and respond to client’s requirements and expectations. I
leveraged my experience in bidding preparation, designing winning strategies, and price estimation to oversee
all activities within my area and generate new business leads, while considering the security and safety
challenges of remote areas and conflict zones.
I have demonstrated a remarkable ability to work under pressure and in various difficult conditions on fast-
track and intricate regional projects. I have initiated contracts with clients and opened a dialogue with all
concerned parties. My journey from Beirut to KSA, the Gulf, Kabul, and back to KSA on mega projects has
enriched my life experience and allowed me to critically engage and perform diverse work assigned by senior
management. My various workstations in several countries have enriched my profile with experience and
knowledge about a wide range of cultural values, policies, visions, laws, regulations, and procedures.
