Head of Mechanical Maintenance and Reliability – Chiniot Power Plant – Capacity 62.4 MW
Heading the Mechanical Maintenance department for conducting the maintenance as per OEM recommendations and in
accordance with international standards,
• Preparation and Implementation of annual maintenance plan, monthly and Quarterly plan
• Effective Implementation of PM plan to avoid/minimize the forced shut downs of the plant.
• Assist in negotiations/ discussion with manufactures, vendors, sub vendors, suppliers
• Responsible for maintain adequate inventory of lubricants, spares, consumables required for O&M.
• Define, manage and monitor departmental budget in line with overall company budget.
From Aug, 2012 to August 2014
Senior Mechanical Engineer – DESCON ENGINEERING LIMITED at 404MW Uch-ll combined cycle Power Plant
construction, erection and commissioning activities. The total capacity of complex is 404MW. The complex comprises two
GE Frame 9e gas turbine of 131.2MW each and two HRSG/one steam turbine of 137.6MW.
From August 2009 to August 2012,
Mechanical Engineer – Descon Engineering Limited at 49.5 MW Wind Form and 225 MW Combined cycle Power plant.
Responsibility plant construction, erection and commissioning.
