Presently, I’m the In-Charge Mechanical Maintenance and Reliability at Chiniot Power Limited.
During my 16 years career, experience of handling complex technical matters pertaining to diversified
sectors such as power plant maintenance, project construction and plant commissioning. A true out of
box thinker with proven track record of value creation incorporating all sections of power industry while
worked as a team member or as a team leader and deliver results. The portfolio is spread across
operation and maintenance, Project development, project execution and commissioning of power
plants.
Professional Experience (Projects) Construction
Successfully perform the construction at 405 MW Uch-2 Power Plant, Balloki 225 MW Orient combined
cycle power plant, 234 MW Sapphire combined cycle power plant, 225 MW Combined cycle Power plant
completed the construction, commissioning and handed over smoothly.
Professional Experience (O&M)
❖ Heading the Mechanical Maintenance and Reliability department for conducting the
maintenance as per OEM recommendations and in accordance with international standards.
❖ Define, managed and monitor departmental budget in line with overall company budget.
❖ Development and implementation of long-term mechanical maintenance strategy.
❖ Reviews, implements and monitors the adherence to mechanical maintenance methods and
procedures.
❖ Planning and execution of Scheduled annual maintenance outages and plant betterment
activities.
❖ Planning and implementation of preventive and break down maintenance.
❖ Review of spare part holdings, ordering spares, carries out store inspections and maintaining
adequate inventories. Developments of tender documents for engineering services and
provide the expertise for selection of vendors
❖ Responsible for getting third party certification of lifting gears and heavy vehicles.
❖ Promoting safety awareness/safe working practices amongst the plant staff and contractors.
