Roles & Responsibilities:
Review & Approval:

•        Design Drawing, Schematic design & shop drawing (IFC) to ensure that works will precede as per contract documents.

•        Inspection reports (WIR, MIR) and records of quality control.

•        Client’s deliverables and resolving issues (RFI) arose during interface between different contractors.

•        Technical Material Submittal for electrical items and low current items as per project specification.

•        Method Statements (MS), Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for construction activities before start of site works.

•        Site Temporary power plan layout.

•        Material, resource & manpower schedule of electrical works.

•        Testing & Commissioning Plan along with method statement for required test to be carried out prior to energization of all electrical system.

Task Accomplished:

•        Study all electrical contract drawings and documents compliance with applicable codes,

standards and regulations.

•        Overseeing the production of shop drawings & details for LV systems (LTG, LTG CTRL, Small PWR, Power SLD, Earthing & Containments, Fire Alarm)

•        Perform quantities take off for MV, LV & ELV systems by creating full and comprehensive list of all materials required for the project.

•        Involved in the procurement stage by floating the quantities of electrical packages for LV

systems in the market and ensure all suppliers quotations comply with the specifications &

•        Update the management on weekly basis site progress and needs (material, drawings, manpower) by attending the weekly Progress, coordination & technical meetings.

Site Management / Coordination

•        Overseeing site organization with a multi-discipline project and responsible for smooth flow

of the project within Quality, Cost & Time.

•        In-charge of installation of Electrical & ELV services to be embedded in concrete elements

(Slabs, Columns, Wall & Retaining Walls…).

•        In-charge of installation of Electrical & ELV services for, external works (Infrastructure

Works, Utility Buildings and Auxiliary Buildings – Pumping Station S/S & Potable Water

Pumping Station).

•        Acting as work front leader for electrical scope by leading a team of different trades and crafts 200 person during the peak.

•        Ensured that all installations comply with Specification, and material submittal & update

technical team for any changes in order to be revised in the drawings due to site condition.

•        Monitor all kinds of construction activities, identifying problems, recommend improvement,

modification, take immediate corrective action if required and prepare various progress reports.

•        Review shop drawings for MV, LV & ELV systems for building & infrastructure works before

release it to the site, and liaise with technical team in case of any discrepancies with other

services & lack of details to prevent any rework in the future.

•        Liaise with the technical team to get the latest approved materials, shop drawings.

•        Overseeing 1st, 2nd & 3rd fix installation of in –house & subcontractors works for:

LV Systems: Lighting, Lighting Control, Small Power, Containments, Earthing & LPS.

ELV Systems: ICT, PAVA, ACS, FAS, BMS, CCTV & DTA.

•        Infrastructure Works: (Telecommunication Networks, ELV Networks, Dry Utilities, 13.8KV

Cable & Street Lighting).

•        Transformers, Switchgears, MDB, SDB, PDB, MCC, ATS, CBS Installation, T &C.

•        Follow up on daily progress on the site and ensure all teams are achieving the required target for each activity.

•        Perform inspection for completed task and liaison with consultant & Quality Control team to

get the required approval.

•        Liaise with all parties in the project for operation of the work (Technical, Civil, Planning,

Logistic, Architect …)

•        Liaise with technical team for any coring/opening/penetration required on site, which does

not reflect on the BW.

•        Overseeing the selection & requisition of materials.

•        Identify types of the Ceiling, Wall & Floor finishes & liaise with civil team to get

clearance for the area and start installation of electrical services.

Planning / Scheduling

•        Preparation of overall plan for execution & liaised with management on program preparation and resource allocation.

•        Plans, Organizes, assigns the work, and reviews, evaluates the performance of assigned staff.

•        Preparation of look ahead per system & update the management for weekly progress & site needs (material, dwgs, manpower).

•        Establish & control of KPI program for the work front.

•        Identify overall manpower (forecasting), gain/loss indicators for hours & QTY’s per week, actual & planned progress (cumulative) of quantities and hours
