Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Maintenance

Maintain accurate financial records and record transactions using accounting software.
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including receipts, payments, and maintaining ledgers.

Accounts Management

Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile accounts.
Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts, resolving discrepancies.

Payroll and Tax Compliance

Process payroll, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensure tax compliance, and assist with tax planning.

Internal Controls and Audits

Implement internal controls, conduct audits, and address discrepancies.
Assist with internal and external audits and implement recommendations.

General Ledger Maintenance

Maintain the general ledger, perform month-end and year-end closings.
Maintain records of fixed assets, track depreciation, and verify assets.

Financial Analysis and Support

Analyze financial data, provide financial analysis, and support business decisions.
Communicate with departments for accurate financial reporting and collaborate with external parties like auditors and tax advisors.

Accounting Software Management

Update and maintain accounting software and systems for data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis:

Analyze production costs, including raw materials, labour, and overhead expenses.
Evaluate cost drivers and identify areas for cost reduction or optimization.
Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
Prepare cost reports and provide regular updates to management.

Product Costing:

Calculate the cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Determine the standard costs for products and review them periodically.
Conduct cost studies for new product development or process improvements.
Accounts Document Verification.
Purchase Invoice verification & posting for both local & imports.

Inventory Management:

Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate valuation of inventory. Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assess inventory turnover and recommend strategies to minimize holding costs.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts related to production costs.
Provide input on cost assumptions and projections.
Track performance against budgeted targets and analyze deviations.

Cost Control:

Implement cost control measures to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements or sourcing strategies.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed initiatives or investments.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare cost-related information for internal and external audits.
Generate financial reports related to cost accounting for management review.
Cross-functional Collaboration.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, finance, and sales provides cost-related support to decision-making processes across the organization.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey cost-related insights and recommendations.

Cheque Return Management and processing of RTGS.
