The Commercial Building Project consists construction of Apartment Complexes, Hotel
Apartments, Business Centre, Internal Road, 3 Nos Entrance Gates, Store Building, Sub
Station Building, Mosque, RCC Boundary Wall, Parking area development & Shade,
Sewerage and surface Water Drainage Network, External Lighting System, Soft
Landscaping, etc
As a Civil QC Inspector my responsibilities include:
 Monitoring the Quality of works according to Project Specification and Contract
documents.
 Maintain a current knowledge and act as liaison with Standards such as SAES,
SAMSS, ASTM, ACI, etc. with respect to quality issues.
 Facilitating audits, inspections and surveillances in the field as requested by the
QA/QC manager.
 Evaluate the structural designs and explain the project specifications to the
workers.
 Maintain the QA/QC documents properly in accordance with the required project
procedures.
 Complete supervision of sites according to technical specification of the project.
 Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
 Verification of contractor claims (Including IPCs and Escalation).
 Coordination Meetings with Field Supervisors and Contractor coordination.
 Verification of shop drawings.
 Bid Evaluation.

The Project involves checking / review of the concept of scheme / PC-I, review of design
proposal, review of Estimates, participation in tender opening, evaluation of tenderers
bid / award process. Construction Supervision of ongoing Projects including rehabilitation
of Canal Systems, Drainage Systems, Hill Torrent Management, Concrete Lining etc. It
also includes design review and construction supervision of Hydraulic Structures, i.e. V.R
Bridges, DR Bridges, Canal / Flood Embankments, River Training Works, Flood
Protection works, Residential / Official Building Complex, Fall Structure, X-Regulators,
Head Regulators, Escape Structures, System Storage Ponds, Small Dams.
As a Junior Civil Engineer my responsibilities include:
 Verification of baseline survey for Canals, Hydraulic Structures, Dams, Spillway and
Flood Works
 To ensure execution of the works in accordance with drawings & specifications.
 Construction supervision of irrigation & drainage works, river training /flood works,
hydraulic structures, bridges, concrete lining, dams and side protections.
 Review of PC-I, Engineer’s Estimate & Variation Orders.
 Implement Quality Assurance & Control Procedures
 Compile monthly progress reports of ADP & PSDP schemes.
 To verify contractors’ payment certificates as per standard format.
 Participate in tender openings, assist the Client in preparation of comparative statements
and tender evaluations..
